ATP-USA features their proprietary molding technology.  This patented “Release free” process allows for maximum flexibility in the following areas:           

  • Inexpensive master tooling provides cost-effective production molds

  • Multi-thicknesses achievable using the same molding cavity

  • Different contours of the footbed surface using the same molding cavity allows for the addition of anatomical features or for unique arch support devices and/or to simple change the aesthetics look or dimensions

  • Multiple designs on the insole bottom can be achieved for unique marketing efforts desired to highlight certain custom features, such as impact zones or anatomical

  • Size to size ratio curve changes are easy and fast

Unlike conventional polyurethane molding, ATP developed a unique method of mold making that is both cost effective and eliminates the need for mold release.  The benefits are a “dry” (not greasy) component with a superior look and feel over products conventionally molded the aluminum, epoxy or steel molds.  This method significantly reduces mold costs.  The ATP-USA mold technology also offers great flexibility in its ability to alter the aesthetic look and/or dimensional aspects of an insole with the need for complete re-tooling.  In addition to design flexibility, ATP-USA designed molds can utilize a wide range of lining materials, both fabric, substrate foams and materials that conventional molders can not do without major costly mold modifications, if at all.  Lastly, ATP-USA molds never need to be replaced, regardless of the quantity of product produced.  Twenty years of USA mold development experience founded this unique process.
